I’ve been messing around with ChatGPT, which is an artificial intelligence chat bot. It’s interesting to mess around with. The other day, I asked it to “Tell a story about sea kayaking on Lake Superior.” This is what it wrote. While it’s a little generic and has some mistakes, it seemed surprisingly accurate. The fish part was a mistake. It’s rare to see a school of fish in Lake Superior.
What do you think? Did it do a good job?
Tell a story about sea kayaking lake Superior
It was a beautiful summer day, and the sun was shining brightly in the clear blue sky. I had been looking forward to this day for weeks, as I was going to go sea kayaking on Lake Superior with some friends.
We arrived at the lake early in the morning, and the water was calm and clear. The sky was reflected perfectly in the surface of the water, and it was like looking into a mirror. We put on our life jackets and got into our kayaks, ready to explore the vast expanse of the lake.
As we paddled out into the water, I was struck by the sheer beauty of the lake. The water was crystal clear, and I could see schools of fish swimming beneath the surface. The shoreline was dotted with towering pine trees and rocky cliffs, and the air was filled with the sound of birds singing.
We paddled along the shore for a while, taking in the stunning scenery. At one point, we came across a group of loons swimming near the shore, and we watched in amazement as they dived beneath the water, only to resurface a few moments later.
As the day wore on, the sun grew higher in the sky and the water started to get a little bit choppier. But even this added an element of excitement to our adventure, and we continued to paddle along, enjoying every moment.
Eventually, we reached the end of the lake and made our way back to the launch site. We were tired and sunburned, but we were also exhilarated by our adventure. It had been an unforgettable experience, and I knew that I would never forget the thrill of sea kayaking on Lake Superior.
