Friends of the Lower Appomattox River race, Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023

I’m very happy to once again be able to sponsor this race as the owner of, and on behalf of, West Side Boat Shop Kayaks.

Please say “Hi” when you see me. This is one of the best organized races on the East Coast of the US. I have wonderful memories of this race the past 2 years and expect this year to be no different.

I’ll have a couple of West Side Boat Shop kayaks available for demos at the finish line. Most likely the Marauder and the EFT/Sleek. If you want to test paddle a different WSBS kayak let me know and I’ll throw it on top of the Mighty Mangomobile and bring it, (yeah, ask me about that one, too.)
