Elkton to Shenandoah…on the Shenandoah River – Dave The Kayaker | Kayaking & Outdoor Adventures

It was a very low water day so we headed to one of the few, local rivers that has water when all water is low.

There is a dam in the town of Shenandoah which essentially creates flat water for the last 2 miles of this trip, and I found that section fairly boring…until we bumped into the JMU rowing team.

Great day, great river, great paddling friends.

I think this is proof that I don’t hate canoes, canoeists, or rowers.

(I just find them slightly distasteful.)
